Friday Night, August 6, 2010 is the kick off of Saline Summerfest for 2010. Along with the 40 crafters on South Ann Arbor Street, the Lions Club, the Kiwanis, the Saline Lindenberg Group will have foood available for your dining pleasure. Benny's Bakery will have hot pretzels available. And...... the infamous Beer and Wine Tent will open at 5:00 P.M. Entertainment by the Twirlettes, and several of the Dance studios will fill the time slot between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
There is a registration table at the corner of South Ann Arbor Street and Henry Street for those that would like to register for the 5K race Saturday morning and or to pick up your race package.
The Rotary will have their Casino night starting at 7:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M. All proceeds will go to the new Ice Rink project.
After the mayor's short address the featured band is "56 Haze" composed of five truly talented musicians, featuring an incomparable line-up of some of Northwest Ohio's best entertainers. Tony Poling (Keys/Guitar/Vocals), Rick Rosonowski (Guitar/Vocals), and Lyle Estep (Lead Guitar/Vocals) front the band with their dynamic voices, dueling guitar leads, and magnetic stage presence. Team their brother-like harmonies with a dream rhythm section comprised of Scott Hafferkamp (Drums/Vocals) and Mahlon Orrin (Bass/Vocals) and you a have yourself a real rock show. In fact, you have more than a rock show, you have an experience! Our goal is to create ENERGY through our live music performance.
